Payment Questions

There are many ways to pay for courses.  These include:

  • check
  • credit card (eg, online)
  • Stripe, PayPal
  • Over-The-Phone (credit card)
  • Quickbooks Payments, ACH, e-check
  • bank money transfer, SWIFT
  • cash

We can consider others.  Venmo we have not tried yet, but might.

Stripe and PayPal offer “pay as you go” terms.  We are willing to try to facilitate that.

We can of course provide an invoice and/or a receipt.

The general understanding is the payment will be received before the course or workshop starts.


We have found that occasionally there are problems making credit card payments over the internet.

The best course of action is to immediately call the number on the back of your credit card.  Often the people on the phone can override the automated fraud sniffers. (They are worried because they see “a big amount over the internet”, which perhaps for you has never been done before.)  Or they will explain the situation to you.  And often you can explain your situation well enough, that they can make some accommodation.  If that does not work, immediately contact us at 704-376-8881 or at We may have more ideas.


Be aware that in Canada, with we think the combination of PayPal and Amex, you can only pay in USD (it still becomes CAD for Canadian citizens on your Amex statement).  We understand the ‘error message’ on this is not very clear.  If you have a problem with this, please contact us and we will help you work through it.
