WEBINAR (free): Kanban in 1 Hour

We are holding another online webinar!

Topic: Kanban in 1 hour

Cost: Free

Description:

As you know, Kanban simply means the use of cards.  It is the Japanese word for card (or sign board).

Kanban was most famously used by Taiichi Ohno.  He used it in the Toyota Production System.  This was later called the Toyota Way.  Outside Toyota we gave the acronym J-I-T (Just-in-time) and later the word Lean.  So, Kanban is part of Lean.

The Scrum Board, which every Scrum team should be using, is a kind of Kanban board.

In this hour we will discuss Kanban, kanban boards, and how they might be used.  We’ll list some sources for further study.

Like Scrum, Kanban seems quite simple (possibly simpler), but in fact is quite involved.  It is hard to do professionally and well.

Bring your questions.

Please come and discuss.
