- Lack of awareness of other projects
- Unwillingness to say ‘no’
- Clearing plate of current projects
- Poorly prioritized projects by management
- Pulled off project
- Poorly defined reqs
- Access to stakeholder / SME
- Reaction to rapid market changes / demands
- Budget ?
- People –> Teams
In addition, these impediments were identified:
- Unexpected changes
- Lack of management support
- Removal of Time, Dollars, People
- No or little understanding of core requirements
- Wrong or not enough stakeholders
- Too many chiefs, no indians
- SME not available
- One person doing work
- Wrong skill set
- Lack of Communication
- Unrealistic timelines
- Resource shortage
- No resource commitment
- No defined deadlines (we need them)
- Mixed expectations
- Un (not good in various ways) Requirements
- Budget (lack of)
- Not enough Scotch
- Scope Creep
